Our first lift recliner was too short in the back so, it ended up causing her shoulder pain at night. After a few months, we spent a little more money and got another one. Luckily, this one had a taller back that supported her shoulders the right way. Overtime we realized that the lift function was different from the last one we had gotten. It tilted too far forward and bent her knee awkwardly which caused her prosthetics to get damaged in the process. In the end, we settled for just a chair and ottoman that she claimed was always uncomfortable. We had settled and I had to be around a lot to provide necessary support.

One year later, I took my complaint to the board at medical breakthrough and decided to take matters into my own hands. I thought of all the people like my wife going through unnecessary pain and having no solutions to their problems. We wanted a product that fixed posture, eased spinal pain, allowed for zero-gravity positioning, and increased movement with proper lift techniques. After putting hundreds of lift chairs to the test, our experts discovered that most of them did little to improve our consumers’ quality of life. Our goal became to create the ultimate lift chair, one that merges craft and ingenuity with safety and comfort. We partnered with nineteen rheumatologists, engineers, pain specialists, and tailors to make our lift chairs as innovative and as health-focused as possible. These experts worked day in and day out crafting, fixing, and experimenting on all the possible features.

With all hands-on-deck and three years of research, we finally created a lift chair that not only looks stunning but, promotes proper health and wellness for our consumers. In the end, we named our finished line the Rheumatologist series because our chairs are especially beneficial to those struggling with Osteoarthritis, Gout, Chronic back pain, and etc. The stress and discomfort from seeing my wife in pain were lifted after she got her chair in. The lift chair has brought some real life joy to my family and I am sure it will do the same for our consumers. With daily use, the swelling on her shoulders have calmed down and she gets up just fine even on her prosthetics. I am so proud to be behind this innovative product because it has done wonders in my home, and I am sure it will do the same for you too.
